"The Processes of Methodological Innovation: Successful Development & Diffusion"
workshop brings together experts working on innovative methodologies around the world to focus on the history behind methodological innovations and on the agents, processes and mechanisms of their development and diffusion. The workshop is based on the conclusions of the project "Innovations in Social Science Research Methods: An International Perspective" (http://eprints.ncrm.ac.uk/804).
The workshop"s objectives are:
To track the "history" leading up to methodological innovations;
To reflect on the "agents" and "networks" behind methodological innovations;
To learn from the processes of developing and diffusing methodological innovations.
