Registration is open for NCRM's summer school on experimental methods in the social sciences.
The five-day event takes place between 30 June and 4 July 2025 at the University of Southampton.
It will provide an overview of lab, field and survey experiments.
Attendees will receive a solid introduction to experimental methodology and the practical skills needed to design, implement, analyse and present experiments.
The summer school is designed for researchers at all career stages, as well as professionals and members of public institutions.
The sessions will be delivered by members of the Centre for Behavioural, Experimental, and Action Research (C-BEAR) at the University of Southampton.
Participants will be equipped with the skills to design, implement, analyse and report experiments, as well as to critically evaluate experimental literature.
Each day, two faculty members from different disciplines will co-teach, fostering a dynamic and dialogic learning environment.
The sessions will be interactive and hands-on, incorporating group work and practical exercises.
