Early-career and PhD researchers are being invited to join NCRM’s Health Methodological Special Interest Group (MSIG).

The group is running a free retreat in Birmingham on 7-8 May 2025, where researchers interested in getting involved can help to shape the MSIG’s future.

Attendees will have the chance to discuss key learnings from the MSIG’s activities so far and discuss the next steps for the continuing and advancing the group.

There will also be opportunities to explore leadership roles with the MSIG and network with other attendees.

The group is inviting applications from individuals interested in taking an active role, whether as future co-chairs, event organisers or contributors.

The opportunity is open to second or third-year PhD students and early-career researchers with an interest in health methodologies.

The deadline to apply for a place at the retreat is Monday, 7 April 2025.

NCRM has a modest budget to cover some costs of attendance at the event, such as travel and accommodation.
