Researching Corporations: a primer
In this video Professor David Whyte talks through some of the practicalities of researching corporations, introducing what a corporation is, along with the concept of corporate personhood and perpetual existence.
About the author
Professor David Whyte's research and teaching interests are focused on the connections between law and corporate power. David has researched the regulation of business in a wide range of contexts (including working conditions , institutional fraud and corruption, economies of war and conflict and human rights violations), and the ways that the law maintains and reproduces violence (as part of a ‘war on terror’, in the workplace and in ‘austerity’ policies).
