Introduction to survey data

This free, interactive module by the UK Data Service is designed for anyone who wants to start using secondary data and introduces you to the skills you need to use large-scale social survey data for your research.
This course covers the following units:
What will I learn?
In this module you will learn about how to find survey data from the UK and around the world, what you need to know about it before you can start analysing it, and how to produce simple tables and graphs for your research or reports.
The full module will take approximately 2.0-2.5 hours to complete. You can dip in and out of the materials and at the end of the module you can earn a certificate of completion.
