NCRM is delighted to bring you the 2023 Research Methods e-Festival from 7-9 November. This will be a celebration of research methods with an interdisciplinary focus. The event will be the 10th edition of NCRM’s Research Methods Festival, which takes place every two years. It will be the second edition to be run online, with the first e-festival held in 2021. If the “e” was not clue enough, this is a 100 per cent digital event. It will be hosted via the interactive platform Whova, which has great networking facilities, a video poster competition and much more.
The e-festival timetable is made up of a range of interactive methods training sessions and talks, comprising 100 confirmed events. These range from “what is” and “how to” talks, to more research-focused webinars, expert panels doing deep dives into particular topics and workshops where you can get a taster for a new skill. View our dedicated webpage for more details: www.ncrm.ac.uk/training/RMeF2023
Festival passes are available for a flat fee of £10, which will give you a choice of more than 100 live sessions to select from.
You will be able access Whova from 9 October 2023, when you will also be able to book the workshops that we are running alongside the festival. The workshops are two-hour intensives that will be limited to a maximum of 30 participants and charged at £2.50 per session. Booking details will be available via Whova when it opens.
Please note: we will not be recording any of the sessions and refunds for cancelled e-festival passes will not be possible after 24 October 2023.
