Description:

Do you want to know more about the best resource for population studies in the UK? Do you want to understand how the UK census works and how to access the data within it?

This free 90-minute online workshop will introduce you to the UK Census, the data held by the UK Data Service, and how to use the web interfaces to access the data. There will also be up to date information on the progress of the 2021 Census for England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and the 2022 Census for Scotland.

The workshop will consist of 30 minutes of presentations, 40 minutes of hands-on practical, and time at the end for questions.

Target audience: Anyone interested in knowing more about the UK population

This event will be livestreamed on our UK Data Service YouTube channel but the chat will be disabled. By registering and attending the Zoom event you will be able to ask questions and interact.
