Summary
Institute for Social and Economic Research (ISER) is an inter-disciplinary research institute carrying out work in the social and health sciences. It is home to Understanding Society The UK Household Longitudinal Study, the ESRC Research Centre on Micro-Social Change (MiSoC), and the Centre for Microsimulation & Policy Analysis (CeMPA). The broad expertise of its staff is in the quantitative analysis of longitudinal survey data, and includes survey methodology, economics, epidemiology, demography, statistics and bioinformatics.
