What is..? elite Interviewing

In this session Neil will consider some of the challenges involved in gaining access to high ranking members of organisations such as chief executives, local politicians, chairs of CCGs etc. He will discuss strategies for negotiating access into organisations; some of the ethical issues raised in these contexts; the importance of presentation of self; and making the most of limited time. Neil will draw on his own extensive research experience in local government settings.
